XTEL is looking for a skilled AMS Software Engineerto join our global technology team supporting and enhancing our Revenue Management platform used by leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy solving real customer problems, working in cross‑functional teams, and building scalable enterprise solutions.
What You'll Do
* Develop, test, and document clean, scalable code aligned with functional and non‑functional requirements.
* Participate across the full SDLC: design, coding, code reviews, unit testing, issue resolution, and operational support.
* Collaborate with architects and functional consultants to design and implement solutions for customer projects.
* Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and complex customer problems.
* Provide effort estimates and timelines for AMS development activities.
* Work closely with QA to ensure high-quality software delivery.
* Contribute as part of a self‑organizing, cross‑functional engineering team.
* Proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockers to ensure smooth delivery.
What We're Looking For
* years of hands-on software development experience.
* Experience building scalable/distributed systems and high‑volume applications.
* Strong understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, and modern software engineering practices.
* Proficiency in .NET C#, HTML5/JavaScript, SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
* Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Microsoft DevOps tools, and Git.
* Knowledge of cloud, SaaS, and PaaS concepts.
* SQL performance tuning and optimization skills (C# or SQL).
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
* FMCG/Retail domain exposure (TPM, SFA, Retail Execution, Incentives, etc.) is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative problem-solving mindset.
