Join Our Team! We are looking for a **Large Project Office Tender & Project Controller Manager** to drive and support the Large Project Office operation. The LPO T&P; controller manager will provide guidance and Leadership to Tender & Project Controllers allocated to LPO and will ensure commercial awareness and proper involvement in Tendering phase, validating, contractual set up, T&C;’s, tax impacts and FCM. He will be a member of the HBU Europe Controlling & Risk Management organization. The location of the role is flexible, ideally colocated with major HE locations in Europe. **How you'll make an impact**
- Act as a Business Partner to the Large Project Office manager
- Participates or provides input to negotiations on Contractual terms and conditions (Clients, consortia, subcontractors, suppliers )
- Ensure timely and experienced resources are allocated to Large Projects
- Support and improves the predictability and operational performance of the HBU, monitoring progress achieved, providing analysis and support to HBU Controlling
- Identifies Tender Pipeline of LPO and interacts with capture team lead to drive the strategy and challenge where needed
- Interacts with other dpt. Preparing a LPO tender such as SCM & Planning to secure BtB agreements
- Identifies Large Projects opportunity/risk and ensure that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented
- Drives and ensure that Large Project reviews are timely prepared, proper revenues and cash planning by project and root causes analysis on deviations
- Identify best practices and lessons learned to be implemented.
- Drive processes, standardization, common way of working: S4H to be the basis for financial relevant data
- Propose and implement digital initiatives for increased efficiency and quality.
- Proactively mentors the team in the correct usage of processes and tools.
- CWFP for LPO projects to support HBU Controlling resources planning **Your background** **OPERATIONAL** **Principles** An expert knowledge of Risk Management principles and ability to give a comprehensive illustration on how those principles are being applied in highly complex circumstances. **Framework** An expert knowledge of Company regulatory environment, governance principles and Company’s accountability. Ability to give examples or illustrations on how they relate to framework of managing risks in highly complex circumstances, involving multiple BU business and strategic customers. **Tool** An expert knowledge of Company tools and ability to operate with, providing full guidance to Tendering & Project Controlling team how tool is to be filled, and relevant questions answered. **BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE** **Techical Knowledge** Deep knowledge of the BU/ HBU & Project execution processes, guidelines and tools: S4H, P6, Promis, Tendering tools, FARM implementation in Project execution. **Risk & Opportunity Management** Capability to identify the significant risks along the full value chain and evaluate, assess, and challenge the Response Plan to avoid/achieve margin erosion/improvement. **Planning & Scheduling (including Procurement)** Understanding of key milestones for an effective plan, schedule, monitoring & control activities necessary for predictable fulfillment of planned activities with efficient utilization of available resources.
