We are looking for
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Travel Consultant Team Leader (m/w/d), who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Service Team.
Your role in BizAway
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting a group of Travel Agents, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational performance. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, fostering a positive team culture, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments (Quality, WFM, Back Office, and GTM&VIP teams) to achieve business goals.
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of Travel Agents in their daily activities
* Monitor KPIs related to service quality, productivity, and client satisfaction
* Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
* Coordinate training needs and collaborate with the Quality & Training area
* Ensure team compliance with internal processes and SLA commitments
* Work closely with Workforce Management to plan shifts and capacity
* Support escalations and complex cases, ensuring client-first resolution
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
* Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing service efficiency and scalability.
Your basic qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in a travel management or customer service environment
* Proven experience leading teams (in travel industry)
* Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in Italian and English (other European languages are a plus)
* A proactive mindset, with the ability to inspire and lead by example
* Passion for people development and continuous improvement.

* Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
* Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing/CRM systems.
* Experience in managing multilingual or multi-market operations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
