Accountabilities To lead Multi-projects worldwide workload planning activities within the assigned programme team, through bid and project lifecycles To balance workloads on different regions in the most effective way; To work closely with the Bid Manager, Programme Manager, and delivery function leads to validate the bidding program plans prepared by Regional planning team by ensuring their consistency between pertinent bid targets and Rolling Stock LoB strategic priorities; To work closely with the Programme Manager, Project Managers, and delivery function leads to validate the Integrated program plans prepared by Regional planning team by ensuring their consistency between pertinent contractual obligations and Rolling Stock LoB strategic priorities; To ensure that all the potential issues within the contract delivery programme due to multi-project and / or workload conflicts are pro-actively highlighted and understood, validating feasible solutions coming from project delivery teams to the stakeholders; To collect the integrated project plans prepared by Regional Planning team and the plans of activities from functional planners and consolidate everything in an integrated multi-project plan To validate programme baselines proposed by Regional planning team and thereafter evaluating the potential effect of risks and changes To support the function owners in the preparation and maintenance of resource and capacity forecasts and programmes across their scope of responsibilities To validate programme baselines proposed by Regional planning team and thereafter evaluating the potential effect of risks and changes and providing recommendations To support the function owners in the preparation and maintenance of resource and capacity forecasts and programmes across their scope of responsibilities Required Skills / Knowledge Good knowledge of processes in Rolling Stock LoB; Self-starter with ability to develop strong, constructive and focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organisation levels Proven ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary team and demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills Basic experience in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft planning products using Critical Path Analysis in a technical environment Flexibility to travel around Hitachi Rail locations as required, potentially including international locations Able to represent Hitachi in a professional manner at all times Education / Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent technical background. Languages Deep knowledge of Japanese (written & spoken). Good knowledge of English (written & spoken).
