The company headquarters is located in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the plant formerly owned by Lancia, a renowned manufacturer of industrial vehicles founded in 1937 and incorporated into the Iveco Group in 1975.
Iveco Defence Vehicles boasts an independent internal structure entirely dedicated to research and development, with full access to the company’s extensive engineering resources.
RESPONSABILITIES
The candidate will be part of the IDV Manufacturing team with the aim of promoting the best technical and process solutions in order to achieve the efficiency and quality requirements. The resource will find himself operating in a context that works by order and therefore highly customized and characterized by often frequent and rapid implementation requests for product customization.
In particular she/he will have to manage:
• Support the development and implementation of immediate solutions in collaboration with all plant functions;
• Interface with all the support functions in the plant to facilitate their activity and interaction;
• Develop internal and external benchmarking in order to identify new industrial methodologies and best practices, promoting the standardization of tools and procedures and supporting the plants with regard to continuous improvement methodologies;
• Ensure the correct implementation of KPIs;
• Work on launch activities and production capability in respect of quality, costs and time objectives;
• Collaborate for the installation of a completed product application into the plant, working with the project team to diagnose and fix problems, from launch to site maintenance and optimization.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering;
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package, with particular regard to Excel and PowerPoint;
• Good knowledge of the English language (at least B2 required);
• The profile is completed by good problem solving, analytical, communication and relationship skills connected to the spirit of teamwork.
