Position
Berluti, only masculine House of the LVMH Group, was established in Paris in 1895 by Italian-born Alessandro Berluti. MISSION
Reporting directly to the Leather Goods Industrialization Manager, the resource will manage and optimize the industrialization process of luxury leather goods, ensuring production efficiency, artisanal quality, and adherence to Berluti's high brand standards. The resource will also ensure the adequacy of the process, with a focus on feasibility, quality, and technical support for production.
Job responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan and monitor the optimization processes of the industrial prototype
* Evaluate innovative process and product solutions
* Modify patterns to implement improvements
* Follow the internal leather goods department and all external suppliers and verify compliance with the defined industrialization process
* Ensure the feasibility analysis of new products and processes and collaborate to improve existing ones
* Support the product development office in the evaluation of materials, combining stylistic needs and production capabilities
* Ensure the correct management of the industrialization of production, proactively assessing any product defects
* Plan the industrialization activities necessary for the realization of production inputs
* Follow production requests from a technical and design point of view
* Define the tools and operations necessary for the optimization of products
* Interact with the Production, Purchasing, Quality and Project Manager departments to ensure the proper progress of the optimization phases
Profile
PROFILE
At least 10 years of experience in leather goods industrialization or consolidated experience as a pattern maker/prototypist in the leather goods/bags sector
* Technical Diploma or Degree
* Knowledge of techniques for reading and modifying patterns and for creating prototypes
* In-depth knowledge of the production and quality process in the field of leather goods
* Ability to communicate with different departments to resolve issues
* Problem-solving, negotiation, and flexibility skills
* Computer proficiency, in particular Excel. Knowledge of SAP will be a plus
* Knowledge of English or French will be considered a plus
* Willingness to travel to suppliers within the national territory
