Innovation, continuous research, digital industry, and sustainability are the pillars of its global business.Within the Unmanned Systems Area, we are looking for Researchers for our offices in Rome Tiburtina, Cascina Costa, and Turin.The person will be responsible for the following activities:* **Autonomous flight:** This research area revolves around the development of technologies that enable unmanned vehicles to operate independently, from takeoff to landing; * **Multi-agent teaming:** Research in this area focuses on improving coordination and collaboration among autonomous agents, to enhance the collective intelligence of multi-agent teams; * **Onboard perception:** Research in this field aims to improve an autonomous system's ability to understand its surroundings, including detection, localization, mapping, and pose estimation; * **Manned-Unmanned Teaming:** Implementation of a framework for coordinating autonomous systems serving the pilot for different environments, both terrestrial and aerial. The candidate will be responsible for implementing collaboration algorithms between autonomous and manned systems with the aim of assisting the pilot in completing a task; * **Swarming Capability:** Development of a framework for distributed control and for the coordination and collaboration of a large number of autonomous platforms to achieve a common task. The candidate will be responsible for implementing collaboration algorithms between autonomous systems, optimal resource allocation, and information sharing among agent systems.**Education:**Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics.
