We are looking for an EMC Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Fino Mornasco, Italy.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
* Perform EMC design, analysis, and verification at system, subsystem, and equipment levels;
* Analyze and assess EMI/ESD effects (conducted and radiated) and define mitigation strategies;
* Ensure EMC compliance with space standards (e.g., ECSS, MIL) across the full spacecraft lifecycle;
* Develop and maintain EMC/ESD documentation (specifications, control plans, test plans, reports);
* Execute and support EMC testing activities, including pre-compliance and compliance in laboratory environments;
* Troubleshoot EMC issues and validate test setups during AIT/AIV and integration phases;
* Perform system-level EMC analyses, including launcher compatibility and interface considerations (e.g., EGSE);
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support EMC activities from early design through integration and launch.

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
* At least 3 years of relevant experience;
* Experience with EMC System level analysis focused on system level requirements and specifications (equipment design, unit testing, launcher site compatibility, EGSE, etc.);
* Experience with EMC analyses either for conducted or radiated EMI cases;
* Capability to draft and evaluate documentation pertaining to EMC verification tests at equipment, subsystem and system level;
* Full autonomy in using Instrumentation for Electrical and EMC testing (e.g. frequency and time domain, emission and susceptibility tests);
* Familiarity with Space Standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-20-07C/-20-06C, MIL-STD-461G);
* Sound knowledge of electromagnetic theory and radio-frequency signal propagation theory is an asset;
* Experience with 3D Full Wave electromagnetic simulation (CST, Ansys, FEKO etc.) including coupling, crosstalk evaluation and RFC is an asset;
* Experience with external/internal charging analyses, ESD-risk assessment and mitigation strategies evaluation and modelling is an asset;
* Good attitude towards teaming and multi-disciplinary approaches;
* Experience with Institutional Programs in the Space Field;
* Full comprehensive capability of Windows Office package;
* Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU;
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
* Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
