Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical Quality Engineer to focus on Product Development (NPI/APQP) and process optimization. The successful candidate will manage quality across the product development lifecycle, oversee macro-process issues, and lead the Laboratory team. This role is data-driven and requires a professional who ensures that every record and process aligns perfectly with international and customer standards. Key Responsibilities
Product Development (APQP): Drive quality planning for new product launches, ensuring all milestones are achieved from prototype to mass production. Process Quality & Data Analysis: Monitor process KPIs, manage large-scale quality issues, and spearhead continuous improvement projects based on statistical evidence. Laboratory Management: Coordinate laboratory personnel and oversee all testing activities for product and process validation. Internal Auditing: Plan and execute internal audits focused on new products and processes in accordance with IATF 16949. Homologation Support: Manage compliance with international certification standards including ECE, CCC, and VSCC. Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis for systemic issues or product/process modifications using structured tools (8D, Ishikawa).
Core Requirements (Hard Skills)
Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Management, or related). Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Quality role within the Automotive sector. Standards: Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 19011. Core Tools: Expert-level proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans. Problem Solving: Advanced mastery of 8D Reports, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and PDCA cycles. Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Software: Proficiency in statistical analysis software and ERP systems (e.g., MAPEX).
Critical Requirement for the Role High attention to detail and strict adherence to internal procedures and documentation standards are mandatory. The ability to manage records and information flows accurately and independently is essential to ensure the efficiency of reporting, compliance, and auditing processes.
