With the aim of strengthening the IT Team, we are recruiting an IT Specialist.
IT SpecialistAs a technical support specialist, you will help our employees and manage our IT systems.
Your responsibilities will include resolving technical issues, maintaining security and stability, managing outsourced IT services, and interacting with business partners across the company.
Main responsibilities:Monitor systems and diagnose and resolve complex problems relating to hardware, software, network connectivity and business applications.
Administer and maintain virtual and physical servers based on Windows Server and VMWare.
Manage on-premises and/or hybrid file servers (cloud-oriented) and configure network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls (e.g. FortiGate and Cisco) and VPNs and wireless access points.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
Implement and monitor security policies to protect the network and corporate data.
Perform data backup and recovery to ensure business continuity (disaster recovery).
Manage operating system and application updates (patch management).
Work closely with the L1 support team to provide training and efficiently escalate problems.
Clearly and precisely document procedures, configurations and solutions to problems to improve the internal knowledge base.
Participate in the design and implementation of new IT projects requested by the CIO or the business.
Requirements:Diploma or degree in computer science.
At least 5 years of experience in a Level 2 IT support role.
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and services like DNS and DHCP.
Experience with VPN, wireless configurations and virtualization platforms (VMWare ESXi or Hyper-V).
Good knowledge of Azure Cloud, solid understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN), and management of switches (HP/Extreme), routers, and firewalls.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) or similar systems.
Experience with backup systems (e.g., Veeam, Acronis), monitoring tools and EDR systems.
Good knowledge of English.
Critical thinking, integrity, and teamwork skills.
