The position involves a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic, with a focus on Telecom Integration and Physical Architecture. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liGuarantee the conformity and compliance of the Telecom Integration Physical Architecture design to contractual requirements. /li liPerform design review of main subsystems, particularly telecom subsystems, and assess system and on‑board interface performance. /li liManage the definition and resolution of all main functional interfaces. /li liProvide expertise and support for integrated on‑board functionality. /li liSupport Tender and Bid teams in vehicle integration, ensuring alignment with system configuration and architecture deliverables. /li liDefine subsystem and system integrated test plans and procedures affecting the vehicle and its interfaces. /li liAssist the project team with customer requests, clarification, design review, and requirements analysis. /li liAttend and support FAT, SAT, SIT, and lab tests. /li liSupport execution of system commissioning, focusing on vehicle and telecom‑related tests and procedures. /li liEnsure that each component of the transport system performs correctly and consistently with contractual requirements and applicable standards. /li liContribute to overall system architecture design by identifying interfaces among onboard, wayside, and central subsystems. /li liPrepare telecom integration physical architecture deliverables, such as: ulliOverall System Architecture drawings (Level 0,1,2) /liliVehicle System Architecture drawing /liliMain Data Flows Overview diagram /liliMain Subsystems Functional Interfaces diagram /liliTime Synchronization (Master Clock) Architecture diagram /liliDoors Coordination and Timing chronogram and document /liliTest Track Architecture diagram /liliTraining Center Architecture diagram /liliLAB or testing platform diagram /liliSystem architecture management plan document /liliSystem architecture technical description document /liliOther preliminary architectural diagrams as needed /li /ul /li liManage reviews/comments from subsystems through VAS/G‑FOR process and internal/official submission to the client. /li liEnsure delivery of system architecture monitoring to control interface and performance key factors. /li liDefine and verify main functional interfaces through Functional Interfaces drawings. /li liSupport system guidelines for alarms, events management, and HMI design. /li liEnsure integration design activities for all telecom subsystems within the TLC‑TLC and TLC‑external systems. /li liIdentify and manage main internal and external interfaces. /li liSupport site tests relevant to telecom integration/stress testing to assure overall performance. /li liSupport troubleshooting and reverse engineering during revenue service period. /li /ul h3Requirements and Soft Skills /h3 ul liEngineering master’s degree (electronic, computer science, telecommunications, electrical). /li liPreferred experience in design and configuration of transport systems, railway vehicles, rolling stock subsystems, and automation of transportation systems. /li liCapability to drive and manage the definition and resolution of multiple interfaces in complex integrated systems. /li liGlobal perspective in design processes, able to extrapolate key factors and data in complex technical scenarios. /li liAbility to work on multiple and different projects simultaneously. /li liStrong goal‑oriented approach to activity execution. /li liAbility to synthesize project and contractual requirements. /li liOrientation to innovation and efficiency. /li liStrong problem‑solving approach in integration and functional interface processes. /li liCapability to perform reverse engineering and performance analysis. /li liGood command of written and spoken English. /li liStrong teamwork ability and commitment to team spirit. /li liAvailability to travel nationally/internationally on short notice and work abroad for short‑ to medium‑term assignments. /li /ul h3Education Qualifications /h3 pTechnical degree or equivalent technical background. /p h3Languages /h3 pGood English proficiency. /p h3EEO Statement /h3 pAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
