They will contribute to system architecture decisions from an operational perspective, develop and maintain mission operations documentation and training material, and coordinate simulations, verification, and validation campaigns. The role involves close collaboration with Mission Control, internal engineering teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and fully validated flight operations.bThis position is also open for freelancers and candidates looking to work remotely from within the EU. /b /p pbPlease note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage). /b /p pThe successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to: /p ul liDerive and maintain detailed operations-related requirements for both space and ground segment systems; /li liSupport in the analysis of external stakeholder requirements (e.g. user requirements, mission requirements, customer requirements, etc.); /li liSupport architecture definition, analysis and decision‑making processes for space and ground systems; /li liDerive and maintain operational concepts and mission-level CONOPS; /li liAnalyze the design of space and ground segment systems from an operational perspective to derive operations products; /li liCreate and maintain Flight Operations Procedure (FOPs) designs, including Spacecraft Operations Procedures, Ground Operations Procedures, and On‑Board Control Procedures; /li liCreate and maintain Mission Operations Plans (MOP); /li liCreate and maintain of Flight Operations Manuals; /li liCollect relevant operations‑related information (e.g. TMTC lists, FDIR routine lists, OOL thresholds, etc.) from system development teams to enable the development of operations products and configuration of ground system tools; /li liDevelop scripts to automatize the execution of FOPs; /li liGenerate and maintain space and ground systems training material for the Mission Control Centre; /li liPlan and conduct training campaigns for Mission Control Centre personnel; /li liGenerate and maintain Operations Validation Plans that include Simulation Campaigns with external stakeholders, in coordination with the Flight Operations Team; /li liGenerate and maintain Operations Validation Procedures and Reports, and keep ground and space segment teams informed about the progress of the operations validation campaign; /li liConduct and report operations verification campaigns that test Mission Reference Databases, FOPs and MOP (a.k.a SVTs); /li liCoordinate operations simulation campaigns (SOVs); /li liGenerate and/or contribute in engineering plans (such as Technical Resource Plans, Design and Development plans, Verification and Validation plans, Operations Engineering Plans, etc.); /li liProvide technical support to Mission Control Centre in executing operations as needed; /li liInterface with all space and ground teams to prepare operations products for flight operations; /li liInterface with external stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, partners, institutions, regulators) representing the technical team within the frame of the assigned programs. /li /ul pbATG is dedicated to diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
