Your Contribution to Prysmian's SuccessWe are looking for an Inbound Supply Chain Manager - Base Metals to join the HQ purchasing department. In this role you will lead the team responsible for the distribution of non-ferrous metals to Prysmian facilities in the European Region, in line with the Supply Contracts negotiated by the commodities owner.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all activities related to the inbound supply chain and triangular flows to Affiliates serviced through Prysmian Spa.
Interact with GCLs to ensure that conditions and volume commitments are reflected in call offs and allocations.
Manage the monthly allocation process.
Ensure on-time and accurate order management in SAP.
Collaborate with the hedging team to ensure proper price risk management of the commodity.
Organize coverage of all business days to maintain continuous service to all affiliates.
Collaborate with supply chain to define demand and forecasts.
Ensure correct application of transfer prices.
Interact with BPO for administrative processes.
Proactively manage any supply chain disruption.
Work with quality teams and plants on quality claims and route major issues to GCLs.
Collaborate with Taxation for proper triangular flow management.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Economics.
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of listed commodity pricing rules and hedging principles.
Analytical and strong communication skills.
Experience with SAP and IT tools.
Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written); knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
