Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to lead our team of expert technicians. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers, overseeing maintenance activities, and implementing preventative measures to ensure equipment reliability. You will also collaborate with colleagues to collect and analyze data to improve processes, deliver site-based and network-level projects, and lead, support, and mentor your team to develop their careers.
You will be based at one of our operational sites, where you will have the opportunity to give practical guidance to your team and gain a clear vision of what's happening at your site. This involves collecting data, solving problems in a fast-paced environment, and creating an operational plan to make the site more productive and efficient.
Leading your team and managing their performance and development is a key part of this role, including organizing additional training and opportunities for growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant experience as a maintenance manager or engineer in an industrial or production environment
* Experience in managing people and teams, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
* Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, with upper intermediate proficiency in local language
Preferred qualifications include:
* Degree in Engineering or another technical field
* UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTEC National Diploma (OND), IEng, CEng or ILM L4+
* Experience of working with statutory regulations and compliance checks
* Experience in automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems
* Experience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
* Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
