Our client is a leading international energy company undergoing a significant digital transformation, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer experience. We are seeking an Italian-speaking Data Scientist with a passion for Conversational AI to join a growing digital innovation team. This role will focus on the design, optimisation and analysis of chatbot and voicebot solutions, leveraging both traditional NLU approaches and modern LLM/RAG architectures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional looking to gain hands-on experience within a large-scale enterprise environment while contributing to impactful AI initiatives.
Create, test and refine prompts to improve conversational performance and user outcomes.
Apply Conversation Design, UX and copywriting best practices to deliver intuitive and engaging customer interactions.
Configure and maintain conversational solutions using low-code development platforms.
Define, monitor and report on key conversational KPIs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Maintain and manage tracking files, reporting documentation and conversational performance records.
Advanced proficiency in Prompt Engineering, including prompt creation, testing and optimisation.
Strong understanding of Conversation Design principles, UX design methodologies and conversational copywriting.
Experience working with low-code chatbot and voicebot platforms, including:
Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agent)
Ability to analyse conversational data and extract actionable KPIs.
Proficiency in Excel and CSV-based tracking and reporting processes.
Fluent Italian language skills (spoken and written).
Exposure to Generative AI projects within enterprise environments.
Experience working within customer service, utilities, energy or digital transformation programmes.
