Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager II to oversee the efficient management of our Sort Center.
Purpose and Scope
The Operations Manager II is responsible for managing a team and ensuring the smooth flow of information across multiple stakeholders to resolve any potential issues that impact customer experience or business continuity.
* Manage a shift, identify opportunities to improve team performance, and drive associated change management.
* Develop and/or refer to performance metrics to drive team performance and business results.
* Identify the business impact of trends and make data-backed decisions.
* Communicate with external and internal customers.
* Escalate problems or variances in the data to relevant owners and follow through on resolutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to pull data from multiple databases and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 2+ years of employee and performance management experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
