Ph3Job Overview /h3 pAlstom, a global leader in mobility solutions, is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of high‑speed, metros, and integrated systems across projects worldwide. The role is based in Rome, Italy, and focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary BIM activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and signal subsystems. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the coordination between subsystem installation managers and the civil works (CW) team, managing overall project modelling tactics and BIM outputs through all delivery stages. /li liDeliver BIM processes, methodologies, and guidance for collaborative production, maintenance, and delivery of information and data throughout the project lifecycle. /li liDirect BIM modeller teams to coordinate across systems, ensuring geometric and metadata compliance with subsystem design owners. /li liReview submitted subsystem models for compliance with project design and minimum development levels, supporting the BIM Manager as required. /li liSupport the Project CW Interface Manager with clash reports and other construction coordination data. /li liParticipate in JV BIM coordination meetings, managing actions raised for Alstom and reviewing customer comments on system models. /li liLead the evolution of detail design models to constructive design models within the BIM team. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Engineering (mandatory). /li liMinimum 3 years of experience in BIM coordination for civil or electrical design, particularly in railway or infrastructure projects. /li liProficient in Revit and Navisworks; experience with CDE codification and process management. /li liStrong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills, with fluency in English. /li liKnowledge of railway systems and experience with infrastructure BIM authoring/coordination are desired. /li /ul h3Competencies Skills /h3 ul liRailway knowledge is appreciated. /li liExcellent communication and organizational skills. /li liAbility to collaborate with modelers from any system and coordinate with project teams. /li liProactive in modifying models or CAD data, executing multidisciplinary metadata checks, and performing multiple system clash or volume clearance checks. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liOpportunity to work in a diverse, inclusive, and responsible global culture. /li liContinued learning and career growth opportunities across functions and geographies. /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAlstom is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive working environment where all employees are encouraged to reach their full potential, and individual differences are valued and respected.
