As a luxury fashion company with a strong ethical standpoint we are leaders and innovators in our industry. /p pThe Controller Operations will report directly to the Finance Director Operations and will be responsible for managing and further developing industrial management control, creating and maintaining key operational performance indicators, and sharing these with the heads of production divisions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure timely reporting of both direct and indirect production costs, supporting the Finance team in the accurate accounting and analytical representation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS). /li liAct as a business partner to Business Unit leaders during budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring deadlines are met. /li liOversee inventory accounting using standard and actual average costing methods, ensuring accurate valuation for monthly closings. /li liPrepare periodic reports on production variances, highlighting major discrepancies and proposing corrective actions where needed. /li liMonitor RD and sample-related activities, providing ongoing support to the Product department in managing individual budgets, revisions, and actuals. /li liDevelop and maintain internal reporting to track progress against budget, providing the necessary KPIs for performance monitoring. /li liSupport management in evaluating new initiatives within the Operations and Supply Chain areas. /li /ul h3Your Talent /h3 ul liDegree in Economics, Business Administration, or Management Engineering. /li liPrevious experience in a similar role (minimum 3–4 years). /li liStrong understanding of industrial processes and cost accounting. /li liExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with various roles and departments. /li liProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. /li liAccuracy and strong analytical skills in data management and interpretation. /li liGood command of English (written and spoken). /li liKnowledge of Stealth and SAP systems is a plus. /li liPrevious experience in the fashion industry is an advantage. /li liFamiliarity with Power BI will be considered a plus. /li /ul pWe welcome people with disabilities and endeavour to make reasonable adjustments, if you do require such adjustments please let us know within 48 hours of your interview. /p pAt Stella McCartney, we like to be bold.
