Role Description
Provides day-to-day administrative and technical supervision to a small group of professional accountants and clerical personnel for a specific segment of accounting activity. The incumbent has both administrative and technical responsibility for staff. The area will tend to be specialized (., general ledger, sales budgets) for a larger organization or general accounting for a sub-unit (. plant) or small organization. Overall accounting policies have been prescribed but there is latitude for procedural variation. Has a thorough knowledge of the organization's systems and can modify or develop new procedures to meet specialized needs.
