Role: QA SERVICE
Place of work: Milan
He/she will support the design and implementation of the new BondVision Swaps platform and will provide testing services within the Money Market Technology team at MTS.
The expected services include:
* Design, execute and maintain test plans and test cases for FIX protocol workflows and message exchanges related to swaps trading.
* Validate FIX message formats, sequencing and business logic for order entry, execution, allocation, confirmation and RFCQ (Request for Quote) processes related to swaps trading.
* Identify, document and track defects in FIX messaging, collaborating with development, business analyst and external teams to resolve issues.
* Automate FIX protocol testing where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.
* Ensure FIX message implementation complies with regulatory requirements for swaps trading in EU (MTF), UK (MTF) and US (SEF) jurisdictions.
* Prepare test documentation and reports for internal and regulatory audits.
* Support troubleshooting and resolution of FIX connectivity and integration issues
* Arrange and manage demonstrations of the software that has been developed specifically for the client.
Experience:
* Proven experience in quality assurance or software testing with a focus on FIX protocol in financial services (ideally in trading platforms or market infrastructure).
* Hands-on experience testing FIX message workflows and integration in trading platforms, ideally for derivatives or swaps.
* Experience with test automation tools and frameworks for FIX protocol testing.
* Previous involvement in cross-functional, international projects.
Education and Knowledge:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance or a related field.
* In-depth understanding of the FIX protocol, including message structures and workflows relevant to swaps trading.
* Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
* Knowledge of regulatory environments for swaps trading (MTF, SEF).
* Familiarity with electronic trading systems and financial instruments.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
