From endlessly recyclable aluminum cans, and cups, to aerosol bottles, our goal is to contribute to a better community, society, and world. \r\nPosition overview:\r\nAs the Site Technical Training Specialist, you are a key member of Ball’s Technical Training organization and the official on-site representative for technical training.\r\nYou will contribute to the success of Ball by independently leading the execution and sustainment of the approved technical training model and BOE Technical Training pillar at the site, ensuring consistent application of global standards while adapting delivery to local needs.\r\n \r\nYour key responsibilities include:\r\n\r\nLeading deployment and sustainment of the BOE Technical Training pillar at site level\r\nActing as the primary technical training point of contact for site leadership and operational teams\r\nDelivering instructor-led technical training (theory + hands-on practical learning)\r\nSupporting new hire onboarding and technical training in partnership with HR and functional managers\r\nCoaching and mentoring others to ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery\r\nConducting competency assessments, observations, and qualification of employees on critical tasks\r\nIdentifying technical skill gaps and implementing targeted retraining initiatives\r\nManaging training assignments and completion tracking in the LMS, ensuring accuracy and traceability\r\nMaintaining documentation and audit-ready records in the eDMS, working with SMEs to update work instructions and training content\r\nTracking training KPIs and driving continuous improvement actions based on performance and operational feedback\r\n\r\n \r\nWhat are we looking for?\r\n\r\nMinimum High School Diploma (technical/manufacturing education preferred)\r\nMinimum 7+ years of experience working directly on the production floor in a manufacturing environment (e.g., technician, operator, mechanic)\r\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and make sound decisions\r\nStrong ability to coach, mentor and facilitate technical training and knowledge transfer\r\nStrong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels\r\nHands-on equipment knowledge with the ability to master at least 3 key pieces of production equipment\r\nWorking knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and electronic Document Management Systems (eDMS)\r\nProficiency in the site’s local language and English (written and spoken)\r\n\r\n Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
