Key Responsibilities- Managing project contracts, identifying, tracking and reporting all contractual aspects from contract award up to the commercial operation date.
- Performing contract summary, transferring contractual documents and raising awareness of any residual known commercial risks within the contract to the Project Team.
- Identifying contractual provisions that the project should transfer to vendors, subcontractors and/or partners.
- Ensuring the Project Team properly archives the contractual documentation and key project correspondence.
- Supporting the project team to formalize contract variations whenever risks or opportunities impact project costs.
- Assisting the PM/PD and other Project Team members in handling contractually relevant matters and drafting key correspondence on contractual matters.
- Supporting the project teams in addressing and resolving contractual disputes and/or claims, avoiding legal escalation and unlocking payments and unbilled milestones, including finalization and execution of settlement agreements.
- Keeping the project claim tracker fully updated, allowing periodic release of contract‑management metrics/KPIs.
- Monitoring the overall financial exposure of projects under your management in terms of outstanding payments, unbilled amounts and bank guarantees.
- Assisting the PD in preparation of claim negotiations up to final settlement, coordinating with legal to define the most favorable and protective final settlement agreements.
- Informing promptly the contract‑management leader and legal department when disputes with clients or partners are likely to result in litigation proceedings.
- Supporting the contract‑management leader and legal department in the management of litigation proceedings.
- Identifying, tracking and addressing contractual lessons learned during project execution to the commercial department.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Engineering or Law with a technical background in Oil & Gas or Energy products.
- Analytical skills on contractual clauses and knowledge of contracting methods, contract forms, drafting terms and conditions.
- Early dispute resolution and claims negotiation experience, with solid interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent organizational and project‑management skills in a global‑matrix environment.
- Ability to work with remote teams and deliver while handling large numbers of diverse tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible, self‑directed manner.

Pay – ItalyThe initial pay range for this position will be EUR51,200 to70,400. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. SectionVI – TitoloIV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
