The purpose of the role is to provide commercial and pragmatic legal advice for an international FMCG, and to help the business to achieve the company goals, among corporate projects. /p pIn a very fast paced environment, you will be encouraged to take on a great range of responsibilities. /p h3WORKING RELATIONSHIPS /h3 pDepartment: Legal Team /p pReporting to: General Counsel /p pWorking with (external and internal relationships): Legal Team, Italy and Nordics team /p h3WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US /h3 ul liFor the opportunity to get to work with an international community and provide support to multiple jurisdictions /li liFor the opportunity to be autonomous at the same time as being surrounded by a tight supportive team that works collaboratively /li liFor the amazing culture with a supportive leadership team and smart teammates who want to make a genuine difference /li liFor the opportunity to work with people who you can learn from and grow /li /ul h3WHAT YOU DO /h3 pMain responsibilities: /p ul liAct as first point of contact for Italy and Nordics legal matters. /li liDraft and negotiate commercial contracts including but not limited to retailer agreements, franchise agreements, service agreements, supply and distributor contracts and confidentiality agreements. /li liProvide advice to commercial teams on contract interpretation. /li liSupport clients in negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders. /li liDraft legal correspondence, including warning letters, termination notices, and other documents related to franchise operations. /li liAct as the primary legal and compliance advisor for Italy and the Nordics (Sweden and Finland), ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements. /li liGeneral office administration duties, including managing contract signings and filing on the shared drive. /li liOversee corporate governance requirements, including board minutes, statutory filings, and regulatory documentation for Italy and the Nordics (Sweden and Finland). /li liConduct legal research using Practical Law, LexisNexis, and be comfortable leveraging GenAI tools available within the organisation. /li liCreate and maintain relationships with external lawyers in Italy and the Nordics (Sweden and Finland). /li /ul pEnvironment: /p ul liLegal Team of 6 people working across 12 jurisdictions /li /ul h3WHO YOU ARE /h3 ul liYou have at least 6-year PQE /li liYou are qualified as a solicitor in Italy with a minimum of 4 years’ experience as an in-house lawyer (experience in FMCG is a plus) /li liYou are fluent in Italian and English; familiarity with Swedish or Finnish would be beneficial but is not essential /li liYou are a strong generalist lawyer with legal experience aligned to the goals set out above, including commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance /li liYou have strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts /li liYou are comfortable navigating regulatory frameworks relevant to food, retail, and consumer-facing businesses /li liYou have strong communications skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders across different countries /li liYou are comfortable using legal research tools and GenAI enabled platforms to support efficient, high-quality legal work /li liYou exercise sound judgment and can balance requirements with strategic and commercial objectives /li liYou thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and are a team player with a proactive, business-oriented mindset /li /ul h3ABOUT US /h3 pKellyDeli, founded in 2010, is an innovative and rapidly expanding food retail and restaurant company.
