Ph3Job Summary /h3 pDental dentist will provide comprehensive dental care by performing exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, and a full range of preventive and restorative procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate documentation and ongoing professional development. /p h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation: /b ul liDoctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). /li liGraduate from an accredited dental school approved by the CODA of the ADA. /li liSpecialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA of the ADA or an accepted equivalent program. /li liDental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty area from an ADA-accredited residency training program. /li /ul /li libCertifications: /b ul liAHA/ARC BLS. /li liDEA registration #. /li li10 Digit NPI #. /li liBoard eligible or board certified as required in the Terms of Occupation (TO). /li liCertified in Radiography. /li /ul /li libLicense: /b ul liLicense to practice as a dentist. /li /ul /li libExperience: /b ul liEmployed for at least one (1) year on a full‑time basis in the practice of dentistry or be a recent (1‑year) graduate of an accredited, post‑graduate dentistry training program. /li /ul /li /ul pU.S. Citizenship is required. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages. /li liProvide routine and preventive dental services, including but not limited to: ul liDental cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants /li liFillings, crowns, bridges, and basic restorations /li liSimple extractions and minor oral surgical procedures /li /ul /li liDiagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth, gums, jaws, and oral structures. /li liEvaluate dental radiographs and other diagnostic tests to determine appropriate care. /li liPrescribe medications, including antibiotics and pain management drugs, in accordance with DEA regulations and state laws. /li liEducate patients on oral health, preventive care, treatment options, and post‑procedure instructions. /li liDiscuss risks, benefits, and alternatives of proposed treatments to support informed consent. /li liRefer patients to dental specialists (e.g., orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics) when advanced or specialty care is required. /li liManage follow‑up appointments and ongoing dental maintenance plans. /li liMaintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing dental practice. /li liAdhere to infection control, sterilization, radiation safety, and OSHA standards. /li liEnsure accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters in the dental record. /li liMaintain active dental licensure, certifications, DEA registration, and NPI number. /li liWork collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality patient care. /li liProvide clinical supervision and guidance to auxiliary dental personnel as appropriate. /li liParticipate in clinical team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and peer review activities. /li liStay current with advances in dentistry through continuing education and professional development. /li liMaintain board eligibility or board certification, when required by the Terms of Occupation (TO). /li liUphold ethical and professional standards set forth by the ADA and state dental board. /li liSupport efficient clinic operations by managing schedules, treatment flow, and patient volume effectively. /li liAssist with maintaining dental equipment, supplies, and compliance with radiography certification requirements. /li liContribute to a safe, respectful, and patient-centered clinical environment. /li /ul pDecypher is an equal‑opportunity and affirmative‑action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce (M/F/D/V). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
