We are currently seeking a Nondestructive Testing Engineer to serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. /p pThe ideal candidate will possess the ability to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both independent contribution and the ability to work within multi‑disciplinary teams. The scope of projects will include, but is not limited to, the improvement of electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems. A fundamental understanding of these systems is required, as the individual will be expected to identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams and organizations. These will involve large amounts of independent work as well as collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You are expected to delight the customer by building trust and delivering key milestones, while driving a culture of safety and security and maintaining a focus on availability. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liSafety Ambassador responsible for driving a culture of safety and promoting a safe working environment for all. /li liRemain cognizant of, and act in compliance with, all security protocols while motivating others to do the same. /li liUtilize internal CMMS to schedule and oversee the day‑to‑day execution of Nondestructive Testing preventative maintenance across all regional data centers. /li liAct as an escalation point for all safety, security and facilities‑related issues as it relates to your assigned work, escalating to your manager as required. /li liDeploy and support all existing and new standard practices for Nondestructive Testing. /li liCommunicate complex technical information to a non‑technical audience. /li liInteract with engineers, technicians, project managers and management daily. /li liWork with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs. /li liOversee projects and provide solutions for root causes of facility issues. /li /ul pAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $133,200/year in our highest geographic market.
