The company provides a wide range of services by managing different asset classes (secured and unsecured loans, consumer credit, residential mortgages, corporate and SME loans, and real estate assets).A description of our services can be found at the following link https://www.bcmglobal.com/countries/italy/.Overview:This role will be based in our Milan, Italy office and is an internship position.Working within our Case Management team, you will be working on the NPL / UTP loans.The person will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of borrower connections, interfacing with Private Equity clients, and meeting their objectives and time frames.Responsibilities:With the guidance of (Senior) Asset Managers, provide assistance on a portfolio of borrower connections requiring effective and efficient management;Provide active support in the day-to-day management of underlying assets securing loans, including implementation of strategies for debt recovery and ongoing management of secured assets in a timely fashion;Support in drafting succinct credit applications for discussion and review with the client;Ensure all MI systems are always kept up to date and accurate;Assist (Senior) Asset Managers in the preparation and organisation of borrower meetingsHelp in preparation of internal and external reports.Experience Personal AttributesUniversity degree in Banking or Economics/Finance/Private Equity;Good financial analytics skills with the ability to understand audited financial accounts, management accounts and financial forecasts an advantage;Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages (with key focus on Excel) with the ability to learn quickly other relevant systems;Fluent in English and Italian; both written and spoken (any other language would be considered as an asset);Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;Attention to details and ability to prioritise workloads and manage timescales;Effective team player and eager to learn.More Information:Location: Via Crespi 19, MAC 3, 20159 Milano;Bonuses: Compensation (800€), Meal Vouchers;Approximate start date: asap;Approximate duration: 6 months.
