Customer Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to take part in the Customer Quality team.\n
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Materials Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in flat glass manufacturing processing especially in offline coated glass – including cutting, edge processing, tempering, IGU production
- Preferably field experience in production or quality engineering
- Strong understanding of flat glass production processes, especially coated glass processes
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, root cause analysis, and process audits
- Good command of Italian and English
- Strong regional knowledge
- Experience in customer‑facing roles, preferably in production & quality
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments
- No travel restrictions and having a valid driving license
- Willing to be based in North Italy and travel frequently (in Italy and/or abroad)
Job Description
- Conduct on‑site customer visits across Europe to address technical issues and provide immediate support
- Monitor field quality, shipment integrity, and line performance during trial productions
- Conduct product and process validation at customer lines to ensure suitability for customer applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues across production processes and report findings and customer insights to internal teams for continuous improvement
