Overview HSE MANAGER – RSPP for the HSE area in Veronella Plant. The resource, in order to support the plant manager, will be responsible for: Responsibilities Proceeding with risk assessment in collaboration with the employer and the occupational doctor, as documented in the DVR (Risk Assessment Document). Actively support the company’s operational and decision making processes by proactively providing other Departments and Management with specific information and consulting on occupational safety, risk prevention, and environmental matters. Defining and implementing preventive and protective measures to eliminate or reduce workplace accident risks. Actively develop and monitor the implementation of protective and preventive measures in accordance with applicable regulations, and draft an improvement plan outlining the safety measures to be applied for the protection of workers. Ensure the drafting and regular updating of safety procedures for all company activities, by proposing training and information programs and paths for employees. Update all documentation required to fulfil the obligations in terms of Safety and Environment, for the management of safety and environmental protection systems. Collect reports of risks and non-conformities reported by the SGM (Management System). Inform all employees about occupational health and safety risks, emergency evacuation procedures, and first aid measures. Delivering training on safety topics, such as the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Leading safety assessments and audits to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Manage the periodic meetings required by applicable legislation and any extraordinary committees (e.g. Lead Committee). Maintain relations with the competent authorities and certification bodies. Manage PPE, medical surveillance, and emergency evacuation drills. Experience in leading HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) projects, including team leadership. Supervise waste management. Experience in CapEx management. Ensure compliance and implementation of Seveso Regulation. Ensure compliance with Legislative Decree 231/01 for relevant processes. Requirements of the position Qualifications & Certifications Degree not less than the secondary school diploma. Degree (plus) in technical fields (e.g. engineering, environmental sciences, environmental science and technologies). Certification for the role of RSPP. Certificates of Module A, Module B, Module C, and five-year updates. Certified trainer for Health and Safety at Work. PM (Project Management) basic knowledge. Professional Experience At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within structured companies (preferably in the automotive sector). Experience in leading HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) projects, including team leadership. Experience in CapEx management. Regulatory & Standards Knowledge Excellent knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Italy’s workplace health & safety law). Up-to-date on HSE regulatory changes. Strong knowledge of: ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) ISO 50001 (Energy Management) IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management) Direttiva Seveso III (Directive 2012/18/UE – D.lgs. n. 105/2015). Technical & Operational Skills Factory layout analysis, flow design, and material handling. Ability to implement HSE strategies within production environments. Basic knowledge of workplace ergonomics. Knowledge of ergonomics concepts, work-related stress, organization and management of technical-administrative activities, and corporate communication and labor relations techniques. Digital & IT Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with SAP and Outlook. Familiar with ticket management software. Languages Good command of English (B2 level).
