Position Summary
Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) is a portfolio of global mid-sized specialty chemical and mineral businesses within J. M. Huber Corporation. HEM is organized into three strategic business units: Huber Advanced Materials, Huber Specialty Minerals, and Huber AgroSolutions.

We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Assistant to join our EMEA-APAC Regulatory Affairs team. This role supports compliance efforts related to:
* Chemical regulations (REACH and CLP)
* Fertilizer product regulations (EU and non-EU markets)
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that the company's chemical products meet all regulatory requirements concerning safety, classification, labeling, and packaging in line with EU and non-EU regulations. They will support the preparation, submission, and tracking of fertilizer product registrations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
REACH Compliance Support:
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product safety data sheets (SDS) comply with REACH requirements.
* Maintain and update raw material databases and SDS.
* Support evaluation and management of regulatory updates affecting REACH.
CLP Compliance Support:
* Assist in classification, labeling, and packaging of products according to CLP regulation.
* Coordinate preparation and submission of CLP Poison Centres Notification to ECHA.
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets CLP and other regulations.
* Assist in preparing and submitting registration dossiers for fertilizer products.
* Maintain organized regulatory files in compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.
* Ensure all documentation (formulations, SDS, labels) is complete and accurate for regulatory submissions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with innovation, sales, safety, and legal teams to meet regulatory obligations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fertilizer regulations globally.
* Assist in preparing regulatory communications to customers and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
* 1-2 years of experience in regulatory or compliance roles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
