About the Role:
Are you passionate about transforming creative ideas into innovative packaging solutions? As a Project Manager within our 3D Team, you will be at the forefront of fast-track packaging development, guiding projects from the initial concept to full industrialization. Your mission is to ensure that every new packaging project not only meets Ferrero’s high standards for quality and innovation but also aligns seamlessly with our manufacturing processes. In this role, you will be the bridge between marketing briefs and tangible, distinctive packaging, directly supporting Ferrero’s growth and business continuity through agile, risk-managed development.
Main Responsibilities:
As Project Manager in the 3D Team, you will lead the accelerated development of new packaging, translating marketing briefs into 3D concepts and industrial prototypes. You will select the most suitable materials and technologies to guarantee both aesthetic appeal and functional performance, always with an eye on sustainability. Your work will involve coordinating prototyping activities, overseeing lab testing, and ensuring close collaboration with Marketing, Technical, and Procurement teams. You will be responsible for evaluating environmental impact and packaging costs, working alongside Procurement to ensure business continuity and robust P\&L analysis.
Your role will also see you proactively scouting new packaging technologies and materials, driving innovation across the board. You will manage the entire lifecycle of packaging projects, from design and validation to trials and homologation, ensuring every step meets Ferrero’s standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be key, as will your ability to manage risks and promote cross-functional collaboration.
About You:
You are a proactive and visionary professional, holding a Master’s Degree in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering, with several years of experience in technical, production, or maintenance roles. You combine deep technical expertise in materials, 3D design, and packaging industrialization with strong project management and problem-solving skills. You thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a structured, team-oriented mindset.
Fluent in English, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and you are comfortable working autonomously under pressure. Your curiosity drives you to explore new technologies and optimize processes, while your critical thinking and decision-making abilities ensure project success. If you are ready to make a tangible impact on Ferrero’s innovation roadmap and help shape the future of packaging, we would love to meet you.
