By delivering operational efficiencies and better results across a range of clinical service lines, we deliver better healthcare, with improved patient and staff experience at a lower cost. /p pAs a Backend QA Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and quality of our backend systems within complex infrastructures. /p pbYour role: /b /p ul liPlay a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality backend solutions that empower the business and enhance user satisfaction. /li liWork collaboratively within the RIS system test team to ensure seamless integration and performance of backend components. /li liPartner with developers, automation experts, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to drive robust, bug‑free product releases. /li liDesign, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases for backend systems. /li liValidate complex database deployments, including replication, RAC clusters, and disaster recovery. /li liSet up and manage test environments using VMware vCenter/vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V. /li liPerform API testing with Postman and develop automation scripts using Python and PyTest. /li liTest backend integrations with F5 and Citrix NetScaler load balancers. /li liDocument test results, track defects, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. /li liA career at Philips comes with all sorts of wonderful benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about benefits in your region. /li /ul pbYou're the right fit if you: /b /p ul liHave 5+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on backend and infrastructure testing. /li liHold an ISTQB Foundation Certification. /li liHave experience as a QA Engineer with strong focus on backend and infrastructure testing. /li liHave proven hands‑on expertise with Oracle Database installation, RAC (Real Application Clusters), and Data Guard. /li liHave practical experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V. /li liHave experience working with F5 and/or Citrix NetScaler load balancers. /li liHave strong SQL skills (queries, indexing, replication validation, performance analysis). /li liHave proven experience with API testing using Postman. /li liHave strong automation experience with Python and PyTest. /li liHave an understanding of high‑availability and disaster recovery testing methodologies. /li liHave experience with CI/CD pipelines. /li liHave a strong level of English, both written and spoken. /li liYou are a strong team player with proven communication and collaboration skills. /li liYou have excellent troubleshooting abilities across databases, networks, and virtualized environments. /li /ul pbNice to Have: /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or other relevant field. /li liExperience with performance and load testing tools. /li liExperience with AWS and its services. /li liKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). /li liFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools. /li /ul pPlease submit your CV in English. /p pbHow we work together /b /p pWe believe that we are better together than apart.
