Assess new product and procedure development, patient selection criteria development, patient screening, and early clinical imaging training/case support for both novel and iterative devices.
Preferred candidate locations: Italy OR Portugal OR United Kingdom (home office based job, very limited travel - travel to US for onboarding and afterward for meeting with team 4-6 planned business trips per year).
How you will make an impact:
1. Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases.
2. Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations
3. Collaborate and provide recommendations to commercial, NPD team and HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocol
4. Provide input to training content relevant to image analysis for HCPs
5. Train field support team and/or HCPs on patient screening procedures
6. Manage the full screening process by updating the information in the patient shared databases (Salesforce and Sharepoint), assign the tasks to the appropriate internal and external contributor, monitor the advancement and request updates
7. Lead one or two imaging modalities for one or two therapies screening review calls with Field Clinical Specialist and circulate appropriate screening evaluation documentation.
8. Lead training delivery to HCP and Field Clinical Specialist about Patient Screening on one imaging modality
9. Develop and improve training curriculum and training materials, based on clinical experience, EW guidelines and SOP
10. Other incidental duties
What you'll need (Required):
11. Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Cardiac sciences, Cardiac Physiology, Cardiovascular perfusion or other related scientific or technical field.
12. Minimum 3 years experience in cardiac imaging within a clinical, hospital and/or industry environment (CT, cardiac sonographer, echocardiographer)
13. Other: Professional accreditation in echocardiography with EACVI (European society of Cardiology), BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) or equivalent is strongly preferred

16. Full knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
17. Strict attention to detail
18. Substantial knowledge of one or more relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g. 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.) and screening methodology of one or more therapy
19. Substantial knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
20. Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
21. Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
