The intern will support the Purchasing EU team in several activities related to the purchase and procurement process of Direct materials. It's a dynamic and challenging environment and a good platform where to start and develop a career in supply chain management.Key Responsibilities:Support the Purchasing team in selected activity of negotiation on costs, delivery performance, price list reduction and payment termsAssist in analysis and market research to identify new potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goodsAnalise and resolve issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, and invoices, even promoting efficiency in the processesSupport the Purchasing team in maintaining high standards in more strategic activities (analysis, monitoring, keeping relations with suppliers partners, etc)Support buyers in quality documentation collection and availability following existing procedures and standardsQualifications:Willing to work in international, fast paced environmentKnowledge:Good at Computer use, Windows software, Office Package, especially ExcelPrevious Knowledge of SAP management system, is preferableLanguages:Knowledge of Italian and English is mandatoryA further language knowledge is appreciatedMindset and Interpersonal Skills:Flexibility, and capable of working in high evolving contexts, are requiredCosts and Quality orientedAutonomy and initiative attitudeTeam working attitudeProblem solving attitudeHigh sense of time scheduled respect and energy level.Motivated to work in the Purchasing areaOpen to acquire knowledge in the international marketsReimbursement€700 per month + free access to the company canteenCurious about our values?
