Join us in redefining the boundaries of what’s possible. /p h3Y our role /h3 pWe are looking for a Re-Insurance Senior Manager who will report to the Head of Risk Management. The Re-Insurance Senior Manager is responsible for developing and managing the organization’s global insurance strategy with specific reference to the opportunity to move into the Group’s captive, existing and future insurances. The breadth of programs ranges from comprehensive coverage for corporate assets, operations, and liabilities, to Employee benefit Insurance solutions. The role oversees risk transfer programs, negotiates insurance contracts, manages claims, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while optimizing cost efficiency. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the Insurance Corporate Team and cooperate with the North America Risk Management Team. /li liDesign and implement corporate insurance programs covering property, liability, cyber, specialized risks and Employee Benefits insurance Solutions (life, Medical, Disability). /li liSupport in the evaluation and selection of insurance carriers and brokers; negotiate terms and premiums to achieve optimal coverage. /li liSupport day-to-day operations of company-owned captive, including governance. /li liEvaluate and propose Insurance programs to be reinsured into the Captive. /li liSupport captive placements, including policy pricing, collateral requirements, capacity limits, policy drafting, issuance, and invoicing. /li liConduct risk assessments and loss analyses to identify exposure areas. /li liDevelop, maintain and update insurance analytics and contract inventory. /li liCoordinate the Management of the claims process, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting. /li liEnsure adherence to local and international insurance regulations. /li liDevelop and maintain internal insurance policies and procedures aligned with corporate governance. /li liPrepare annual insurance budgets and forecasts. /li liMonitor insurance costs and identify opportunities for savings without compromising coverage. /li liMonitor and report Captive Performances. /li liLead the insurance team and provide guidance on best practices. /li liCollaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and operational units to integrate insurance considerations into contracts and projects. /li liActively cooperates with EyeMed insurance solution to seek and develop synergies and opportunities to generate value. /li /ul h3Main requirements /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field. /li liProfessional certifications preferred; MBA is a plus. /li liMinimum 10 years in insurance or risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in International Companies (brokers or Insurances Preferred). /li liProven track record in negotiating complex insurance contracts and managing global programs. /li liStrong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. /li liExcellent negotiation and vendor management skills. /li liKnowledge of underwriting principles, claims processes, and regulatory frameworks. /li liLeadership and team development. /li liEffective communication and stakeholder management. /li liFluent in English – Italian and French are also considered as a plus. /li /ul h3What’s in it for you /h3 ul liAccess to our cutting-edge learning platform, Leonardo, and personalized development programs to help you grow professionally and personally. /li liEnjoy flexible work conditions, health insurance coverage, ticket restaurants, internal rooftop canteen. /li liJoin the Corporate Shareholding Program “BOOST” an opportunity to share in the company’s success and directly benefit from EssilorLuxottica’s growth. /li liAccess special offers for employees on a vast range of eyewear, eye care products, and fashion apparel, so you can enjoy our world‑class brands firsthand. /li liEnjoy our “Disconnect Program” a holistic approach to work‑life balance, including initiatives for mental health, yoga, jogging sessions, and more, designed to help you recharge and stay healthy. /li /ul h3Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitment /h3 pWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
