The Demand Planner is responsible for translating market signals into actionable plans that ensure product availability, inventory optimization, and high customer service levels across the portfolio.This role works cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory and Central Supply Planning to support the Integrated Business Planning process and manage product lifecycle changes.
The Demand Planner helps implement projects, programs and processes that support the organization’s overall supply chain strategy and applies statistical forecasting and data analysis skills to improve accuracy and insights.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate consensus forecasting with Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain stakeholders, providing input and analysis on market events and customer inputs to identify demand drivers.Support the monthly IBP cycle with demand assumptions, scenario analysis, risk assessment and recommendations.Work closely with Central Planning to ensure required service levels‑inventory health and execute corrective actions.Review and optimize safety stock levels, balancing customer demand requirements with healthy inventory levels and anticipating impacts from new product introductions (NPI).Support NPI launches, phase‑in/phase‑out (PIPO) and lifecycle management of new and discontinued products.Collaborate with Supply Planning to mitigate shortages, excess stock and obsolescence risks.Provide reports, dashboards and tools during Demand Reviews, and offer descriptive and predictive analytical support for the broader Demand Planning organization.Support and evaluate new methodologies and technologies to enhance demand plan accuracy.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics or equivalent.1–2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning or supply chain analytics.Experience in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated industries is strongly preferred.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret complex datasets.Proficiency in forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis and demand planning processes.Knowledge of ERP and planning systems such as SAP, JDE or similar tools.Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a cross‑functional environment.Fluency in English.High attention to detail, accountability and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.Knowledge of IBP processes and demand review governance.Key CompetenciesAnalytical skills and data‑driven decision making.Forecasting and planning.Cross‑functional collaboration.Customer focus and service orientation.Business acumen and financial understanding.Effective communication.Continuous improvement mindset and agile learning.BenefitsAnnual base pay range: €33,700.00 – €54,395.00.Annual bonus with target based on pay grade and performance.Vacation days, parental leave (minimum 12 weeks), bereavement leave, caregiver leave and volunteer leave.Well‑being reimbursement and programs for financial, physical and mental health.Service anniversary and recognition awards. xjrgpwk Various insurance plans available to employees and eligible dependents.
