This is an unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative and fast‑paced data centres in the world. The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data centre infrastructure. As part of that team, you will be primarily tasked with installing cabling and new racks within the data centres. You must be able to perform repetitive tasks and adhere to standard processes and best practices, and work in a team environment that requires clear communication and cross‑team collaboration. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liAdhere to security and safety best practices in the data centre. /li liInstallation and testing of copper and fibre optic cabling. /li liBasic build and troubleshooting of network devices. /li liManaging inventory of related materials. /li liAdhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures. /li /ul h3Physical requirements /h3 ul liThis position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations. /li liManual handling and lifting of equipment may be required in accordance with local safety regulations. /li liRegularly work at heights and from ladders. /li liWork in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. /li /ul h3Location requirements /h3 pOur data centres are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited. A valid in‑Italy driving licence is required for this role. /p h3Work schedule /h3 pThis is a 100% onsite in‑person position due to the hands‑on nature of managing mission‑critical infrastructure. /p h3Basic qualifications /h3 ul li1+ years of structured cabling (Copper/Fiber) installation experience. /li liGood understanding of industry cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of cabling systems (Copper/Fibre test equipment, OTDR, network analyser, VFL, etc.). /li liAbility to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 16 kg with two‑person support or equipment. /li liValid in‑Italy driving licence. /li /ul h3Preferred qualifications /h3 ul liSeveral years of data‑centre structured cabling infrastructure experience. /li liGeneral comprehension of the various components and sub‑components of data‑centre infrastructure. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
