Role Overview :
The selected candidate within the Supply Chain department will serve as the contact point between ships, suppliers, and the procurement team.
Responsibilities :
* Monitor procurement tools, identify issues, and propose improvement plans to enhance effectiveness.
* Support the implementation and ensure continuous operational management of eProcurement solutions.
* Manage the entire procurement process, focusing on creating, approving, and issuing purchase orders.
* Verify compliance of purchase requests with company policies and procedures.
* Manually process purchase orders when required.
* Collaborate with sourcing teams and suppliers to obtain quotes, evaluating offers based on delivery times, quality, and cost competitiveness.
* Process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring proper approval, transmission, and timely delivery with accurate data on items, quantities, and prices.
* Ensure user configurations, approval flows, and filters align with current company policies.
* Coordinate delivery activities with logistics, couriers, and suppliers to meet deadlines.
* Research and select new suppliers, assessing their suitability based on quality, technical, and commercial standards.
Minimum Qualifications :
* Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
* At least 2 years of experience in the shipbuilding / naval mechanical sector, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
* Familiarity with P2P technologies (e.g., MXP, AMOS, Ariba).
* Experience with ERP systems and P2P platforms; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and spoken English skills.
* Willingness to travel, including international trips.
