Sr. UX Designer, Amazon Advertiser User Experience
Are you a seasoned UX Designer who is passionate about delivering elevated user experiences? The Advertising User Experience (AUX) team is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join us as we innovate and streamline campaign planning, management, and reporting experiences, making the complex seem simple. Our team builds innovative tools anchored in a robust UX design system to simplify and optimize advertising for our customers. In this role you will work directly with UX, product, and engineering to deliver engaging, AI‑powered user experiences by evolving and expanding our design system, Storm, while helping UX and Product at scale and raising the bar.
Key job responsibilities
* Create user‑centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints/opportunities.
* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
* Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
* Establish and maintain detailed user‑interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications
* 7+ years of design experience
* Have an available online portfolio
* Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
* Experience with UX design of complex workflows
* Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
* Experience with design systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
