Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our Maintenance and Facilities operations team. This role is critical to maintaining the precision tools, fixtures, jigs, and gauges that support our shop manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and longevity of production tooling through preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration activities.Job DescriptionAvenza Aero Alliance maintenance specialist, reporting to the Facility and Maintenance Leader, will support within the following Maintenance and Repair activities:Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing fixtures, jigs, templates, and specialized tooling used in turbine, generator, and energy equipment productionDiagnose and troubleshoot tooling failures and implement corrective repairs to maintain/improve safety and minimize production downtimeSupport shop tool engineers to rebuild, refurbish, and restore worn or damaged fixtures to original specificationsSupport in troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and repair activities on CNC machineryMaintain detailed maintenance records and documentation in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in use E-maintCoordinate the calibration of measuring instruments according to quality standardsConduct regular calibration of precision measuring instruments and gauges per established schedulesVerify dimensional accuracy of fixtures and tooling against engineering specifications and tolerancesCoordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure tooling meets ISO and industry standardsMaintain calibration certificates and traceability documentationTechnical SupportCollaborate with manufacturing engineers to identify tooling improvement opportunitiesSupport new product introductions by preparing and validating fixtures for production readinessProvide technical expertise to production teams on proper fixture usage and handlingAssist in root cause analysis investigations related to tooling-induced quality issuesInventory and OrganizationManage tooling inventory, including storage, organization, and tracking systemsIdentify obsolete or redundant tooling and recommend dispositionCoordinate with procurement and manufactoring tooling engineers for replacement parts and tooling componentsMaintain clean and organized maintenance work areasKey RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience in mechanical technology, aerospace, industrial engineering, or related field preferredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in fixture and tooling maintenance in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in precision fittingProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specificationsExperience with precision measuring instrumentsWorking knowledge of CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, etc.)Excellent attention to detail and quality focusAbility to work independently and prioritize multiple tasksAdaptability to changing production needs and schedulesIntermediate level knowledge of English – b1Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvementEffective communication skills for cross-functional collaborationExcellent interpersonal and relational skills, curiosity and precision complete the profilePreferred QualificationsExperience in aeroderivative turbine, power generation, aerospace, or heavy equipment manufacturingFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodologiesKnowledge of welding and fabrication techniquesSix Sigma or quality certificationStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of E-maint CMMS and Oracle ERP will be a plus.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
