Shipping/Receiving Spec (Data Shipping)

To support our operations team in Vergiate, IT (near Milano), we are looking for a
Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Your core tasks will include:
- Incoming goods inspection and booking, including document processing.
- Storing and removing goods from storage.
- Picking fasteners, small components, and various chemicals and hazardous goods for use in the aerospace industry.
- Consolidating goods and packaging according to the individual requirements of each customer.
- Packaging in accordance with IATA and ICAO regulations and customer requirements.
- Conducting regular inventories and measures to ensure compliance with all quality standards.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 2+ years of experience in the warehouse/logistics sector.
- Experience using hand scanners.
- Familiarity with the MS office package
- You are fluent in Italian.
- You are physically fit and able to carry items weighing up to 20kg.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- You are familiar with standard software and common enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (experience with SAP is an advantage).
- A forklift licence and knowledge of IATA and ICAO regulations are desirable.
- We would welcome a general knowledge of written English.
- You are open to challenges, enthusiastic and impress with constructive solutions, motivation and the ability to work independently.
