As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Oleochemical Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities across Europe and globally.
Role Description
The Oleochemical Procurement Manager will lead strategic sourcing and category management for oleochemical feedstocks and derivatives across Europe and globally.
This role combines regional responsibility with global category leadership, covering the full oleochemical value chain. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing supply, managing market volatility, driving value creation, and supporting Innospec's sustainability objectives across the oleochemical value chain.
The role is remote with flexibility on the base location within Europe, with regular international travel.
Main Responsibilities
Market Intelligence and Feedstock Monitoring
Monitoring and analysing global and regional oleochemical and feedstock market dynamics
Tracking regulatory and sustainability developments impacting sourcing strategies
Publishing market and price trend insights to support procurement and business decisions
Representing the company at key industry conferences and forums
Strategic Sourcing and Category Leadership
Developing and implementing regional and global sourcing strategies
Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks through alternative sourcing and supplier development
Leading competitive tenders and cross functional category initiatives
Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Sustainability teams
Negotiation and Value Creation
Defining and leading negotiation strategies at regional and global levels
Delivering year on year cost savings and a sustainable value pipeline
Balancing cost optimisation with supply security and long term supplier partnerships
Supplier Management
Building and manage senior level relationships with key oleochemical suppliers
Monitoring xrdztoy supplier performance across cost, quality, service, and sustainability criteria
Person Specification
Education
Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Procurement, Engineering, Chemistry, or similar
Experience
Strong background in oleochemical or chemical raw materials procurement
Deep understanding of feedstock markets, price drivers, and supplier dynamics
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, and international procurement
Comfortable operating in a global, matrix organisation

Strategic mindset with strong analytical capability
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence and lead cross functional, cross regional teams
