Process Improvement Line Leader - Melfi plant
Barilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Process Improvement Line Leader for the Melfi plant. The individual will report to the Production Manager.
Job Purpose
Implement, promote and encourage a continuous improvement environment for the competence area/line in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in terms of production performance, Quality, Safety and Environment/Energy, involving all functions related to the production processes and stimulating engagement of line personnel.
Key Accountabilities
* Intercept opportunities for improvement by analyzing reporting systems and evidence from the field, activating and managing a specific team to define improvement solutions.
* Provide input to planners and shift leaders for special requests related to production planning, based on projects in progress.
* Participate in the definition of the budget concerning Capex, KPIs, Quality, Safety and Environment, highlighting needs and opportunities for savings to ensure proper economic coverage for the following year.
* Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental standards by implementing all related procedures for the specific area/line and support preparation of external audits.
* Conduct root cause analysis with Quality, HSEE and shift leaders for complaints/ non-complaints and accidents/non-accidents, defining preventive and/or corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the plant Technologist to intercept structural issues related to process standards, monitoring KPIs and defining appropriate adjustments and/or changes.
* Ensure resources needed during technological tests (people, tools, equipment) to support technologists during pilot phases.
Requirements
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Previous experience of 1–2 years in industrial environments with focus on quality, safety, production, lean, or Six Sigma.
