The candidate will be part of the team Procurement Process and Tool Management & Transformation. The “Procurement Process and Tool Management & Transformation” unit is part of Procurement Excellence Division inside of Generali Group Procurement and aims to:
- Manage the eProcurement system, which is adopted in more than 20 countries in the Generali Group, ensuring a high quality of service, delivering new enhancements, and fostering adoption in the group
- Lead transformation initiatives of Procurement, also leveraging on technologies like RPA and AI, to innovate and simplify the procurement activities
The Procurement Excellence Expert, acting as an IT Procurement Analyst, supports the Group Procurement in the maintenance and improvement of the Procurement platform, ensuring a high service level to the internal stakeholders.
He/She reports to the Head of Unit (Procurement Process and Tool Management & Transformation) and works in the implementation and improvement of the Procurement tools among the Group, collecting requirements and ensuring the best quality of the deliveries and the respect of the project deadlines.
He/She oversees the system maintenance, the design, development and maintenance of solutions to support E2E procurement processes, taking care of the integrations with other business processes and monitoring the incidents and the system performance. It is also requested to act as system administrator when needed.
He/She interacts with the software providers and system integrators to address the priorities according to the projects roadmap. He/She develops reporting related to Procurement activities.

Requirements
- Functional knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, Procurement
- Knowledge of Ivalua application (knowledge of other eProcurement systems is a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of SaaS solutions, Web Applications with particular focus on cloud services
- Knowledge of the Agile project management methodology
- Basic Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of IT software development and IT system integration principles and technologies
- Degree in Computer Science, Economics or Engineering; different qualifications may be taken into consideration based on a significant experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
- At least 3-5 years of experience in similar roles within consulting firms or complex organizational environments.
