You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply‑chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. In this role you collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest safety and security standards while enabling limitless capacity at the lowest possible cost. Key Responsibilities
Lead logistics operations, ensuring the organization runs smoothly and meets customer and business expectations on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
Develop and implement performance goals and productivity plans, balancing labor and forecasting requirements.
Set and maintain timelines that meet business and customer expectations, ensuring they are met.
Partner with management to establish and uphold quality‑control standards and remove roadblocks for major initiatives.
Act as the primary point of contact for communication and escalation with internal and external teams.
Define team strategies, vision, and goals aligned with the broader organization.
Ensure operational practices are compliant with legislation, policy, and regulatory requirements.
Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs within the team.
Drive staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, performance levels, and process change initiatives.
Maintain team alignment and cohesion through regular coordination, coaching, and development conversations.
Champion continuous improvement by standardizing processes, conducting PDSA evaluations, and auditing operational performance.
Plan and conduct quarterly risk assessments and compliance reviews for the AWS transportation program.
Research state and local fleet and driver regulations and ensure standard operating procedures are in place.
Travel between sites and across the cluster as needed to support team and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of people‑management and team‑development experience.
3+ years of logistics‑operations experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of data‑center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
Experience building cross‑functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization without direct reporting relationships.
Proactive, independent work style with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering projects.
Data‑driven mindset, using metrics to guide improvements.
Prior experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary, affiliate, or comparable industry.
Benefits
Base salary range: $113,600.00 – $160,000.00 USD annually. The total compensation package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and other discretionary incentives determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
