We are looking for a Labour Law & Industrial Relations Specialist. In this role you will drive effective employee and industrial relations by ensuring full compliance with labor laws and regulations while fostering a constructive dialogue with employee representatives. The role is responsible for interpreting and applying complex labor legislation, implementing compliant policies, managing labor agreements at national and international level, and proactively resolving disputes and grievances. Acting as a trusted partner to the business, you will collaborate closely with legal counsel on labor-related matters, monitor regulatory changes, and provide clear guidance and reporting to senior management. You will also oversee the budgeting related to labor relations activities, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and risk management standards.
This position reports to the Labour Law and Industrial Relations Manager.
Interpret and apply complex labor laws and regulations (e.g., working time, minimum wage), ensuring consistent and accurate implementation across the organization.
Oversee and monitor the budget for labor relations activities, tracking legal expenses and ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to financial targets.
Implement, and enforce employee relations policies in full compliance with local and international labor legislation.
Manage employee relations matters end-to-end, including handling grievances, resolving disputes, and addressing complaints across different geographies.
Lead relationships with labor unions, negotiating and managing collective agreements while balancing business needs with employee representation requirements.
Coordinate with external legal counsel on a wide range of labor law matters (e.g., disputes, discrimination claims, wage and hour issues, collective negotiations).
Monitor developments in labor laws and regulations, proactively assessing impacts on the business and providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
* previous experience (2-4 years) in a similar role
* Strong inclination for in-depth analysis and attention to detail, both in technical and operational tasks and in interpersonal relationships.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a wide range of topics at different levels, maintaining a consistent approach oriented towards excellence
* Natural aptitude for working with numbers and applied mathematical logic, with particular focus on the payroll domain.
