Regional Marketing Lead, EMEA/APAC
Location: Mogliano Veneto (TV), Italy
The Regional Marketing Lead, EMEA/APAC is responsible for driving the regional downstream marketing strategy and execution across the EMEA and APAC regions. This role ensures the successful implementation of global marketing initiatives, adapts campaigns to regional market needs, and coordinates regional medical education and training programs, ensuring smooth execution of product workshops and clinical training sessions, tailored to local market/ customer needs. The position serves as a strategic bridge between Global Marketing, Regional Sales, Clinical, and local affiliates to ensure alignment and impactful execution. This position will report to General Manager EMEA/APAC.
Key Responsibilities
1. Downstream Marketing Execution
Localize and implement global marketing strategies, campaigns, and product launches within EMEA and APAC regions.
Develop region-specific marketing plans to support revenue growth and market share objectives.
Provide marketing support to local distributors and affiliates, ensuring consistent brand positioning and messaging.
Monitor competitive landscape, pricing, and market dynamics to inform regional strategy and tactical plans.
Create and adapt promotional materials, digital content, and sales tools for regional use.
Lead planning and execution of congress participation and engagement across the region.
Define and track KPIs for regional marketing initiatives to measure effectiveness and inform future strategy.
1. Support of Medical Education & Training
• Support regional and local medical education courses, workshops, and symposia in collaboration with Global Medical Affairs and Clinical teams.
• Support Regional Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement and speaker development initiatives.
• Ensure all training and educational content aligns with local/ regional regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Track effectiveness and ROI of educational initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.
1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with Global Marketing, Regional Sales, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
• Partner with Local Affiliates and distribution partners to understand market needs and feedback.
• Support product management and lifecycle activities, including post-launch evaluations.
1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics (leads, campaign performance, event participation, revenue impact).
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
• Manage regional marketing budget efficiently and transparently.
1. Team Leadership
• Manage and develop a small, regionally dispersed team across EMEA and APAC, fostering collaboration and cultural awareness
• Provide strategic guidance and operational support to ensure consistent execution of global marketing and educational initiatives, adapted to local market needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience:
• 5–8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in medical devices, MedTech, or healthcare sectors.
• Proven track record in regional downstream marketing and medical education coordination.
• Experience in managing culturally diverse teams
• Experience in multi-country environments (EMEA and/or APAC) and with distributor-based models.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience in organizing and executing clinical workshops / training sessions in partnership with clinical teams.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Fluent in both Italian and English are essential; additional languages (e.g., French, German, Mandarin) are an asset.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%.
