In this role you will work with regional AWS leadership to lead financial controllership of AWS Data Center Community and improve financial performance. We take working hard, having fun, and making history seriously and you should too! /p pThe Data Center Finance team is part of the Asia-Pacific Infrastructure team. We provide end-to-end financial support driving AWS to be the low-cost provider in Cloud computing and leader in customer experience. This includes supporting business owners in designing, building, operating and innovating our Cloud data centers. We support operations, business development, and engineering. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as the key business partner working directly AWS senior management and other internal stakeholders to provide financial recommendations. /li liDrive cost savings by identifying opportunities and benchmarking across vendors and locales. /li liWork across teams on cost savings projects, automation and improvement initiatives with finance, construction, IT and design. /li liConduct regular face to face and virtual meetings in the Asia-Pacific region to support business partners and drive further efficiencies. /li liManage the financial planning and analysis effort and forecast various metrics for financial risks and opportunities. /li liReport on the financial performance and lead in the preparation of weekly, monthly and annual financial reviews. /li liDevelop ad hoc business analysis and present recommendations to AWS senior management. /li liMonitoring compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes and controls to support the fast-growing, global AWS business. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience /li li4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience /li liBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or MBA and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience /li liBusiness partnering experience /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMBA, or CPA /li liExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) /li liExperience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes /li liAble to work well with cross functional teams.
