ABOUT THE ROLE my client is looking for a
Business Development Specialist
to help grow the Italian market for a
fast-scaling European fintech
working in the payments space. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, is naturally curious, and understands the value of building long-term commercial relationships — especially in
eCommerce and digital-first environments. You’ll have the chance to work with a solid product, in a company that’s profitable, agile, and expanding across Europe.
what will you do? :
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Italian eCommerce / payments market Manage the full sales cycle : from prospecting to closing Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations Help shape the local commercial strategy and future sales structure Represent the company in client meetings and relevant industry events
We are looking for :
3–5 years of B2B sales experience (ideally with complex or long-cycle products) Background in
fintech, payments, SaaS, or eCommerce Creative, strategic approach to business development Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Fluent in Italian and English Based in Milan or able to commute easily
