Ph3Job Description Summary /h3 pThe Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the activities of gears manufacturing processes. She/He will take full responsibility of the assigned hardware, developing the manufacturing plan and/or optimizing the existing one to achieve the required targets in terms of process feasibility and robustness, product quality, product cost and capacity sustainment. She/He will also analyze quality KPI for the improvement plan of the assigned P/N. /p h3Job Description /h3 h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport concurrent engineering activities with the design engineers and/or with the customer /li liDefine tooling/router design effort between external suppliers and Avio Aero Manufacturing Engineer /li liDrive suppliers of tooling during all steps from the concept to the functional test and related validation /li liManage design and process reviews, to monitor the status of industrialization/ improvement plan for the assigned P/N. /li liSupport operating personnel during the production of the first batch /li liManage the technical validation according with internal procedures /li liIdentify processes optimization to be implemented /li liSupport Customer Quality Engineering for the anomaly report submitted to Customer and sustain Customer review of the proposed improvement plan /li liBring new ideas and positive support to the current process /li liDevelop and consolidate best practices and standards for gears manufacturing /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liMaster Degree in Mechanical is a plus or Industrial Technical Diploma with experience in aerospace manufacturing. /li liBasics of gears manufacturing and of NDT /li liBasics of metrology principles applied to geometrical tolerances /li liAbility to read technical drawings and specifications /li liAbility to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions /li liAbility to manage activities simultaneously /li liStrong organizational skills /li liPrevious experience of work in a matrix organization /li liItalian and English fluent /li liWork Visa, according to local regulation, is required. /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liExperience in manufacturing Gears and mechanical parts is a plus /li liStrong interpersonal and leadership skills /li liAnalytical mindset; structured problem solving; attention to detail /li liStrong oral and written communication skills /li liPrior experience with Flight Deck /li liContinuous improvement mindset; curiosity for new technologies /li liPrioritization and planning in fast-paced environments /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pbSmart working and work life-balance /b /p pAvio Aero, when possible, promotes remote work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
