An international K12 education group is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to assume the role of Head of School for one of our institutions located in the northern region of Italy. The Head of School will lead the development and deployment of staff, curriculum, standards, teaching and learning, management, and efficiency, according to the following functions: Education Inspire and motivate all members of the school community, following the school’s mission and principles. Ensure that the school's curriculum aligns with IB principles. Ensure the academic, personal, social, emotional, and physical welfare of all students. Ensure that all members of the school community are treated respectfully by everyone, demonstrating an appreciation and integration of different nationalities and cultures. Ensure the safeguarding policies are followed consistently and fully in collaboration with the global education team. Maintain and improve the quality of education that we offer. Management Ensure the school’s future success through effective management by running the school in an organised and efficient way. Ensure that structures and systems put in place are optimal and effective (teaching, learning, HR, admin, new admissions, marketing, finance, maintenance, and services). Manage the school’s budget to meet all financial targets, controlling the P&L and ensuring continuity in the school’s strategic direction. Develop the team. Communication Ensure effective communication and relationship building with students through school assemblies, individual meetings, tutorials, newsletters, digital platforms, and with alumni through appropriate channels, events and activities. Ensure effective communication and relationship building with parents, families and members of the wider community through parents meetings, evenings, seminars and workshops, school performances and social events.
